Therapy is a unique opportunity to explore ourselves and how we relate to others in an intentional way.

MS, LPCC, LMFT
Hello, I’m so glad you’re here!
One of the most important factors in therapeutic outcomes is the quality of the therapeutic relationship. You can expect compassion, curiosity, and even humor to be a part of our work together. Yes, I have the clinical education, training, and experience, but most importantly, I will show up as a fellow human being.
Starting therapy can be a big decision, and sharing your true self with a stranger might be intimidating. Rest assured, I’ve been providing therapy in private practice in Minnesota for 15+ years and I approach it in a comfortable and accessible way.
I love to support clients in symptom reduction, improved wellness, and a better sense of self. I can help you develop new skills, regulate emotions, express yourself, and improve your relationships.
I specialize in working with high functioning professionals, caregivers (healthcare, education, family/parenting), ambitious young adults, and all those who are grieving someone or something. I also enjoy working with people who are new to therapy and maybe aren’t even quite sure if they “need” this.
Clinical Specialties:
Anxiety & Stress
Grief & Loss - Bereavement, Complicated (complex, ambiguous, etc.), Anticipatory
Suicide loss
Relationship concerns
Depression
Life transitions
I provide a comfortable and safe space for support and to explore, challenge, and change patterns that no longer serve you well.
My approach to therapy is non-pathologizing and draws from Narrative, Client-centered, Systems, Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Strengths-based, Internal Family Systems (parts work) and Biopsychosocial therapeutic modalities.
I’m a master’s level clinician and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist practicing in Minnetonka, Minnesota. After completing my graduate work at St. Cloud State University I earned a certificate in Animal-Assisted Therapy and worked with my co-therapist dog Willow for many years. She’s now a retired teenager who spends her days napping, barking, and begging for popcorn.
I’m happy to consult if you want to see if we’re a good fit, have questions about therapy, or need some guidance in getting started. Please reach out if I can be helpful and I’ll look forward to hearing from you!
