Amanda Hohag, MS, LPCC, LMFT | Therapist, Founder and Owner - Gray Space Therapy

Therapy is a unique opportunity to explore ourselves and how we relate to others in an intentional way.

I’ve been providing therapy in private practice in Minnesota for 12+ years, and believe a supportive therapeutic relationship is the foundation for a meaningful therapy experience. You can expect compassion, curiosity, and even humor to be a part of our work together. I love to support clients in both symptom reduction, as well as improved wellness and a better sense of self.

I enjoy working with individuals (16 years+) to explore and address anxiety, stress, depression, life transitions, self-esteem, grief/loss, family dynamics, and relational concerns.  I provide a collaborative space to explore, challenge, and change patterns that no longer serve you.

My approach to therapy is rooted in a non-pathologizing perspective and draws from Narrative, Client-centered, Systems, Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Strength-based, and Biopsychosocial therapeutic modalities.

I’m a master’s level clinician and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist practicing in Minnetonka, Minnesota. After completing my graduate work at St. Cloud State University I earned a certificate in Animal-Assisted Therapy and worked with my co-therapist dog Willow for many years. She recently retired and now spends her days napping, barking, and begging for popcorn.
